Nostalgia Alternative was originally created as a product of quarantine restlessness- an outlet for me to share my thoughts on my favorite thing in the world. Music.

I am reviving the blog now, as I suffered from some multi-year long writer’s block, but I am back now and once again passionate about sharing my thoughts on albums, artists, & genres that set my soul on fire.

Nostalgia Alternative to me encompasses all of the types of music I enjoy under one category. Regardless of genre, the music discussed here is not in the mainstream, and whether old or new, evokes a feeling of nostalgia. Music that makes me homesick for a time, place, or world that only exists in the sound of that song.
